We can’t believe it’s August already! The summer has flown by and what a busy summer it’s been! Here’s what we’ve been up to…

After burrowing away designing new spaces for Nottingham City Homes at Hosta HQ over the Winter, it’s been fantastic to be installing some of the projects.

Kingston Court

Kingston Court is the first of three new landscaping schemes to be installed in Sneinton, to compliment the newly renovated apartment blocks. We wanted the regeneration of the area to flow into the gardens and so the space now features a wildflower meadow and a patio area for the residents to enjoy.

Marldon Close

This unutilised area covered in mossy tarmac and patchy grass verges was improved with the installation of wooden sleeper beds and a vibrant wildflower meadow. The area is now greener and has seen a great increase in biodiversity.

And of course now that RHS Tatton Park flower show is over, we can’t wait to see our pocket park inspired show garden recreated as a permanent space in Nottingham. The garden will be installed in one of Nottingham City Homes spaces in the city.

Going forward into the Autumn we’ll be completing the other two spaces to go alongside the gardens at Kingston and be installing a green roof garden on the Victoria Centre Roof.

When summer comes to Nottingham, the streets become buzzing as people flock to bar and restaurant terraces and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the warmer evenings. Plants are a great way to make the outside of a venue as bright and attractive as the interior.

What we created for the Lace Market Hotel and The Hand and Heart show that minimal space is required to make a big statement.

We are also delighted to be working with Blueprint on a landscaping scheme at the gorgeous new Trent Basin site.
