We are co-curating the next Creative Quarter Pecha Kucha event which has a 'green' theme. The event will take place in the Spring and a date will be announced soon.

As well as inviting speakers from different businesses and projects within the city to talk about their work within an environmental theme, we are also launching a book club and networking event which will be held monthly within the Creative Quarter. The book club is called 'Green Thinkers' and is a new Nottingham branch of a book club established at Newcastle University. The book club is for anyone to join who has an interest in the environment and wishes to learn more about issues relevant to us all. We will be meeting once a month as part of a new #greenconnections network that aims to bring together everyone who is interested in horticuluture, urban farming, vertical farming, sustainability, food, environment, climate, urban greening, allotments, wildlife and biodiversity. We would like to celebrate the work within the city and Nottinghamshire that is being undertaken by groups often too busy to connect with like-minded people. Together we might be able to solve some of the problems faced by cities in sustainable food source/ production and climate change mitigation.

Please come along if you are interested and if you have any questions about the event, book club or network please e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
