We have been busy in the las two weeks because the office has moved. Luckily only next door to 1C so we are still located within the lovely Cobden Chambers off Pelham Street and so will still be able to enjoy this beautiful courtyard and help keep it filled with plants.

The office is still not quite sorted as we are having a sink fitted and need to do some decorating. however, we have had an amazing mural applied to one of our walls by artist Smallkid (Kid30) who is responsible for some of the stunning street art that pops up within the city and within the courtyard at Cobden Chambers. We are looking forward to organising the office and anticipate all of the work to be finished within the next week so that we may receive visitors.

We are working on some great projects within the city at the moment including a large office terrace / roof garden design, an outdoor bar area and we have been designing planting plans for a large property development out in Whatton following a consultation offered as a prize for last years School for Parents Ball to help raise money for the great work that they do.

The Creative Quarter Articulture project has launched recently for 2015 and Helen Taylor and Sarah Manton have started visiting local businesses, shops, cafe's, bars and pubs within the Lacemarket and Hockley areas to offer a floral gift and encourage them to participate in this 'urban greening' project. Articulture is funded by the Creative Quarter and the project aims are to improve the retail area and encourage footfall, enhance the streetscape, plant up the tree pits and other little spots with lovely flowers for everyone to enjoy. We would love everyone to be involved and are happy to work with businesses to help them enhance their spaces with floral displays and art that references nature so do get in touch if you would like us to pop in: This email address is being protected from spambots. We have had to say farewell to Clare Selwood who has been an intern with us for 6 months and has now finished to continue her role at Arkwright Meadows Gommunity Garden and persue her passion for plants and design within her own business. clare has been an asset to the team and is responsible for much of the lovely flowers that are blooming now in the tree pits around Hockley. we look forward to seeing more of Clare's work within the Articulture project during the summer.
